NAMH BOARD OF DIRECTORS

At the Annual Membership meeting on 03-13-2022 Judge Rhonda Forsberg gave the Oath of Office to the 2022-2023 NAMH Board of Directors. Following is a brief intoduction to each board member.

Our Board: Welcome

Executive Board

President: Mark Manendo

In 2017 I was appointed to the Board as Vice President. In 2018 I became President due to the untimely death of Al Krisch. I do not live in a manufactured home community but have been a member of NAMH for over 20 years. Born in Erie, Pennsylvania and have lived in Las Vegas for over 30 years. I grew up in a political family and my mother Marie Manendo was on the NAMH Board for many years, so I was destined to follow in her footsteps. I served in the State legislature )assemblyman for 16 years), senate (7 years). My goal is to build the organization and fight for the rights of manufactured home owners.

Vice President: Jean Wheelcock

My husband Richard and I moved from Coeur D'Alene, Idaho eight years ago as a transfer from Idaho to Las Vegas, He had several choices and decided for health reasons that Las Vegas was the best choice for us. I also serve as Vice President on Cabana Chapter #8. Richard and I are very involved in our community and look forward to keeping the rights of manufactured homeowners and renters and will continue to strive for ways to implement better conditions for all parks so we are all on the same page. My goal is to be a vocal voice in Carson City. That is down the road, but it's coming.

Secretary: Pat McHugh

Born and raised in Chicago and moved to Henderson in 1997 to get away from the cold, rain and snow and have been a resident in Mountain View since. I'm a fanatic sports fan. I have been a member of NAMH for over 20 years and very active in the community chairing social activities, advisor/consultant on the Mountain View chapter board and a member of our Advocacy Group. In addition to being the NAMH membership chairperson, I'm also on the board of the National Manufactured Home Owners Association (NMHOA).

Treasurer: Janet Nelson

I retired from the Air Force and moved to Las Vegas in 2005 from Lake Havasu City, AZ as a traveling agency RN nurse for all hopitals and rehab facilities. In 2016 I replaced Erik Minton who passed away. I love line dancing with the Tropicana Palms Bootleggers.

Directors

Joy Johnson:

I'm new to the NAMH Board. In 1977 I moved from Long Island, NY to California and came to Las Vegas in 2005, retired from Medical Management and live in Villa Borega MHP and oversaw our Neighborhood Watch.

Kristi Sustrick:

I moved to Las Vegas in December 1992 and in 1998 moved into Bonana Village MHP until 2014. During that time, I became interested in NRS 118b and the US Constitution. While I no longer live in a manufactured home park, I have become well versed in the statues regarding manufactured housing. I've been a member of NAMH on and off for several years and held a board position many years ago so it’s wonderful that I am back on the board. I achieved by Commission as a Notary Public and am currently studying to become a Signing Agent through the National Notary Association and the Secretary of State.

Luanne Smith:

I've lived in Las Vegas since 1966. I'm also the president of cabana Chapter #8

Teresa Coleman:

I'm a Las Vegas native but did live in Havre de Grace, Maryland for 13 years. I've lived in Cabana since 2013 and have met many friends and was introduced to NAMH and asked to decorate the clubhouse for their many events and have been a loyal member ever since. I'm an artist, writer, dog lover and avid cook and attended the Art Institute of Las Vegas for interior design.
